Writing Ruled for You. In the old days, writing was ruled for the writer’s personal style, though this practice is uncommon these days, we ruled personal choice as THE RULE in the Century Update™. With the Vocht Canon Rule™ (VCR) , every American will be given the opportunity to write in pleasure and comfort with reintroduction of the Pica Measurement System – just as writing was practiced in pre-modern eras. Grafted on ‘canon” known in religious law, and the vote sounding word from the Netherlands (vocht), the VCR’s design and rule is verbatim, adding to the sacred freedom and secruity of written speech, comfortably writing can be ruled for everyone. As they say, “The Pen is mightier than the sword, but not for the weak at heart.”
The Century Update™ reintroduces Pica measurements into force with equal measurements used word processors. Just like 12 inches per 1 foot, Pica is the larger of the Point Font system: 12 points equals 1 Pica, and 1 point is equal to the dot or period mark made by the point of a standardized ruling pen. Create line for line handwritten documents with VCR, and scan into a processor Monday morning, or not.
The Vocht Canon Rule™ (VCR) is prescribed in common sizes: 8 Points for Music writers to 2 Pica (wide ruled) or may be custom fitted to suit your preference with 23 sizes available using our Custom Order process. We, also, offer the common teacher requested 12 Point Font (called 1 Pica)!
